Ingredients

π A small bunch of curry leaves
π§ 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
πΏ A small bunch of cilantro, chopped
π 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
πΆοΈ 1/4 teaspoon chaat masala
π₯ 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes
π§ 1 teaspoon salt
πΎ 1 cup rice flour
π§ 1/4 cup water
π’οΈ 3-4 tablespoons oil for frying
Instructions
1- Prepare Chickpeas:
- Place 1 cup of 90% cooked boiled chickpeas into a mixing bowl.
- Mash them slightly using a wooden masher, leaving a coarse texture.
2- Mix Aromatics:
- Add 1 chopped onion, 2 chopped green chilies, a small bunch of curry leaves.
- Add 1 teaspoon of ginger garlic paste and chopped cilantro into the bowl with the mashed chickpeas.
3- Add Spices:
- Incorporate 1/2 teaspoon of cumin powder, 1/4 teaspoon chaat masala.
- Add 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes and 1 teaspoon of salt.
4- Combine Ingredients:
- Stir in 1 cup of rice flour.
- Gradually add 1/4 cup water, mixing by hand until you achieve a cohesive, dough-like consistency.
5- Shape Patties:
- Portion the mixture into small balls.
- Flatten them into patties with your palms.
6- Fry Patties:
- Heat 3-4 tablespoons of oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat.
- Fry the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and crispy.
7- Serve:
- Remove the cooked patties from the pan.
- Serve them hot on a plate with your preferred sauces or dips.
