π§ 2 cloves garlic minced
πΏ Fresh cilantro chopped for garnish
π§ 1 tablespoon butter grass-fed if possible
π§ Salt and pepper
Instructions
1- Prepare the Chicken Marinade:
In a mixing bowl, add the juice and zest of one orange.
Incorporate the Sugar Free Honey, Coconut Aminos, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes.
Mix well, and then add the chicken, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Allow it to marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
2- Cook the Chicken:
Heat avocado oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sautΓ© until fragrant.
Remove the chicken from the marinade and place it into the pan. Cook each side for about 4-5 minutes until fully cooked.
Remove chicken from the pan and let it rest.
3- Make the Orange Sauce:
In the same pan, add the marinade and bring it to a simmer.
Stir occasionally, letting it reduce to a thicker consistency, about 5 minutes. Add butter, and allow it to melt into the sauce for added creaminess.
4- Cauliflower Rice (optional):
- You can serve this dish with cauliflower rice for an extra low-carb component. Simply pulse cauliflower florets in a food processor until they reach a rice-like texture. SautΓ© in a separate pan with a little oil until tender.
5- Assemble the Meal Prep:
Slice the chicken into bite-sized pieces and distribute them evenly into meal prep containers.
Drizzle the orange sauce over the chicken and garnish with fresh cilantro.
Include a side of cauliflower rice.
