Ingredients

🐖 150 grams boneless pork chop
🍶 1 teaspoon Kikkoman light soy sauce
🍶 1 teaspoon Shaoxing wine
🌿 ½ teaspoon five spice powder
🧄 1 clove garlic, grated
🌽 ½ teaspoon cornstarch
🍯 ½ teaspoon honey
🌶️ ¼ teaspoon white pepper

Rice and Toppings:
🥬 150 grams green cabbage, chopped
🥬 60 grams mustard greens, rinsed and chopped
🍯 1 teaspoon honey
🥚 1 large egg, hard-boiled
🍚 100 grams cooked jasmine rice

Instructions

1- Prepare the Vegetables:

  • Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in the Our Place Always Pan over medium heat.
  • Add the chopped green pickled vegetables and 2-3 cloves of chopped garlic.
  • Sauté with a wooden stirring spoon until vegetables are cooked through and fragrant. Transfer to a plate and set aside.

2- Marinate the Pork Chops:

  • In a small glass bowl, combine Kikkoman soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, sugar, white pepper, sesame oil, and five-spice powder along with minced garlic and sesame seeds to create the marinade.

3- Cook the Pork Chops:

  • Reheat the Our Place Always Pan over medium heat with a small amount of oil.
  • Using tongs, place the marinated pork cutlets into the pan.
  • Fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.

4- Assemble the Dish:

  • On a serving plate, layer a portion of cooked jasmine rice.
  • Arrange the pork chops atop the rice, followed by the sautéed pickled vegetables, steamed cabbage, and half of the hard-boiled egg.
