Ingredients
🐖 150 grams boneless pork chop
🍶 1 teaspoon Kikkoman light soy sauce
🍶 1 teaspoon Shaoxing wine
🌿 ½ teaspoon five spice powder
🧄 1 clove garlic, grated
🌽 ½ teaspoon cornstarch
🍯 ½ teaspoon honey
🌶️ ¼ teaspoon white pepper
Rice and Toppings:
🥬 150 grams green cabbage, chopped
🥬 60 grams mustard greens, rinsed and chopped
🍯 1 teaspoon honey
🥚 1 large egg, hard-boiled
🍚 100 grams cooked jasmine rice
Instructions
1- Prepare the Vegetables:
- Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in the Our Place Always Pan over medium heat.
- Add the chopped green pickled vegetables and 2-3 cloves of chopped garlic.
- Sauté with a wooden stirring spoon until vegetables are cooked through and fragrant. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
2- Marinate the Pork Chops:
- In a small glass bowl, combine Kikkoman soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, sugar, white pepper, sesame oil, and five-spice powder along with minced garlic and sesame seeds to create the marinade.
- Place pork cutlets in the bowl, ensuring they are completely coated. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
3- Cook the Pork Chops:
- Reheat the Our Place Always Pan over medium heat with a small amount of oil.
- Using tongs, place the marinated pork cutlets into the pan.
- Fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
4- Assemble the Dish:
- On a serving plate, layer a portion of cooked jasmine rice.
