Ingredients
š„¢ 400g Silken Tofu
š« 200g Dark Chocolate, 70% cocoa
š„ 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
šÆ 3 tbsp Maple Syrup
Instructions
1- Melt the Dark Chocolate:
- Break the 200g of 70% dark chocolate into small pieces.
- Melt slowly using a double boiler over simmering water until smooth. Alternatively, use a Thermomix: set it for 3-5 minutes at 50°C on speed 1.
2- Combine Ingredients:
- In a blender or Thermomix, add the melted chocolate, 400g of silken tofu, 1/2 tsp vanilla extract, and 3 tablespoons of maple syrup.
3- Blend Until Smooth:
- Blend on high for about 3 minutes or until the mixture is completely smooth and homogenous. For Thermomix users, start from speed 3 and gradually increase to speed 9.
4- Refrigerate:
- Transfer the mixture to a mixing bowl and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight. This allows it to set and develop a mousse-like texture.
5- Serve:
- Once chilled, scoop the mousse into clear glass dessert cups for serving. Garnish with a slice of peach or apricot for added visual appeal.
