Ingredients
🦃 2 ½ lbs Ground Turkey
🧂 1 tsp Salt
🌶 1 tsp Pepper
🌶 1 tsp Chili Powder
🌿 1 tsp Oregano
🌶 ½ tsp Paprika
🌰 1 tsp Onion Powder
🍃 ½ tsp Dried Basil
🧅 ½ Yellow Onion, chopped
🧄 2 tsp Minced Garlic
🥒 2 Medium Zucchinis, cut into quarters
🌶 2 Bell Peppers, color of choice, chopped
🧄 ½ tsp Garlic Salt
🧄 ½ tsp Garlic Powder
🌰 1 tsp Onion Powder
🌿 1 tsp Oregano
🍃 ½ tsp Basil
🌶 ½ tsp Chili Powder
🌶 ¼ tsp Paprika
🍅 6 oz Tomato Paste
💧 1 cup Water
🫒 Olive Oil for drizzling
🧀 Shredded Parmesan Cheese
Instructions
1- Brown Turkey:
- In a HexClad-style skillet over medium/high heat, brown the ground turkey.
- Use a silicone or plastic meat chopper to break up the meat as it cooks.
2- Season:
- Once the turkey is cooked through, drain any excess fat or water.
- Season the turkey with salt, pepper, chili powder, oregano, paprika, onion powder, and dried basil. Mix well and set aside.
3- Sauté Aromatics:
- In the same pan, drizzle a small amount of Colavita olive oil.
- Add chopped yellow onion and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
4- Cook Veggies:
- Add quartered zucchini and chopped bell peppers to the skillet.
- Season with garlic salt, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, chili powder, and paprika. Cook until vegetables are tender.
5- Combine and Simmer:
- Return the seasoned turkey to the skillet with the veggies.
- Lower the heat, and add tomato paste and water. Stir until evenly combined.
6- Simmer:
- Allow the entire mixture to simmer for about 5 minutes until all ingredients are well blended and heated through.
7- Garnish and Serve:
